An olive grove, Lake Garda
and plenty of peace and quiet.
This is Ca’ Scaì Agrifugium.

When Claudia and Thomas bought a three-hectare olive grove in Tignale, 250 meters above Lake Garda, in 2011, the property was neglected. It first had to be made accessible, bushes had to be removed, barbed wire fences had to be dismantled, the olive trees had to be spruced up and two buildings had to be built and extended.
Claudia and Thomas invested every spare minute they had to make their dream of an agrifugium come true. For twelve years. You can see that. And you can feel it too. In two new, fully equipped, lovingly furnished apartments for guests aged 18+. In a large garden with expansive, shady trees. Swimming in the saltwater pool with a panoramic view of Lake Garda.
In short: in every moment spent at Ca’ Scaì Agrifugium.

Time out at the Agrifugium

No cars. No crowds.
No hustle and bustle. No worries.
A time-out at Ca’ Scaì Agrifugium really is that.
Lots of time with the
switch on “off”.

The Ca’ Scaì Agrifugium is out of the ordinary, that's for sure. For example, it is not accessible by car. A problem? No, an opportunity. A chance to take a holiday - even from the car. Anyone who believes that this means doing without is mistaken. This is clear from the moment you arrive. Guests at the Agrifugium park their car in the free municipal parking lot in Tignale/Oldesio, where they are welcomed by Claudia and Thomas. While their luggage is transported to the Agrifugium, guests immerse themselves in their holiday on a 20-minute walk. If you don't like that, there are alternatives. An e-bike, for example, or a Vespa have proven their worth: not only to reach Ca’ Scaì, but also to be mobile in the high season on Lake Garda.
Traffic jam or let the Ora blow in your face? The decision should not be difficult...

No car, no problem.

The luggage is transported, the shopping is delivered,
fresh bread rolls are waiting for breakfast
and even the pizza makes it here.
Who needs a car?

A holiday without a car means a holiday without worries. Without traffic jams. Without exhaust fumes. Without a guilty conscience. And without having to do without anything. Ca’ Scaì Agrifugium makes sure of that - even before you arrive.
If you send Claudia and Thomas a shopping list in advance, you will find everything you need in the apartment. The delivery service also covers shopping during your stay and even goes so far as to provide fresh bread rolls in the morning on request.
And because hiking and biking trails are right on your doorstep, you don't need a car to get there either. So it's that easy - on foot.
